INVL Technology was licenced as a closed-end investment company (CEF) by the Bank of Lithuania on 14 July 2016. The company’s Articles of Association stipulate that INVL Technology will operate until 14 July 2026, with extension possible for a further 2 years.
The company’s investment period will last for 5 years, and during the remaining 5 years the company will seek to increase the value of the businesses it owns and sell them profitably to major players, thereby generating a significant return for investors.
For acquisitions, the company allocates money raised during the successful public offering of INVL Technology shares in July 2015. In the offering, 10 million euros was raised.
When the company obtained CEF status, its management was assumed by the INVL Asset Management, a company of Invalda INVL – one of the Baltic region’s leading asset management groups.
In keeping with the Articles of Association of INVL Technology, the investment company’s first net asset value was published on 30 August 2016. The value was 23 906 150 euros as at 13 July 2016.
